Abstract

A review of the literature reveals that Hodgkin’s disease is usually classified in the group of malignant lymphomas. The disease is usually systemic and does occasionally also involve the pelvic organs. Primary Hodgkin’s disease has very rarely been reported in the pelvic organs. A case of primary Hodgkin’s disease of the ovary is presented with six years of followup observation without any evidence of systemic involvement.
