Abstract
The mammographic and thermographic appearance of 10 cases of fat necrosis of the breast are described. A spectrum of mammographic appearances ranging from that mimicking cancer to cases in which no mammographic abnormality is seen are presented. Thermographic findings in fat necrosis of the breast are discussed for the first time. Two of four cases with recent trauma had asymmetrical thermograms. Thermograms in cases without history of recent trauma were negative.
