Coexistence of atheroemboli and minimal-change disease

Abstract

We report the first case of coexistent cholesterol emboli and minimal-change disease in an elderly individual with acute renal failure and the nephrotic syndrome. Renal insufficiency and heavy proteinuria improved rapidly with oral steroids.
