Treatment Philosophy

I joined the pathology department at Fox Chase Cancer Center because it is a pioneer in cancer research and one of the most reputable cancer centers in the country. I am a board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist, with sub-specialty trainings in hematopathology and oncologic surgical pathology. In hematopathology, we work very closely with a multi-disciplinary team of outstanding and dedicated clinicians and pathologists to provide the optimal patient care by continuously making precise diagnosis of cancers that affect the blood and the lymphoid systems.

Early on in my medical career, I became fascinated by cancer biology. I yearned to explore challenging fields, which had the potential for improving lives; a yearning that continues to fascinate me about pathology today. It is inspiring to see how the advancements in diagnosis, research, and treatment in this discipline are rapidly improving healthcare and patient outcomes. These prospects are exciting and as a hematopathologist, my aim is to arm clinicians with the most comprehensive diagnosis by utilizing cutting-edge technologies to provide for the most effective and up to date treatment options for patients.
