My research focuses on key factors influencing cardiometabolic health and cancer treatment, including disease staging, social determinants of health, and microbiome characteristics. I am particularly interested in understanding how patients with specific diseases or cancers differ in social variables and microbiome composition compared to healthy populations. My interests span the following areas:

• Microbiome and Disease: Exploring microbiome differences across various health states to develop novel methodologies for utilizing microbiome data in clinical outcome predictions, paving the way for microbiome-informed precision medicine.
• Bayesian Data Analysis: Employing Bayesian methods for analyzing high-dimensional health data or electronic medical record (EMR) to improve the precision and reliability of health predictions and insights.
• Cardiometabolic Health and Cancer Treatment: Investigating the progression and staging of cardiometabolic diseases to better understand how different stages impact overall health outcomes and disease trajectories.
