Treatment Philosophy
I take time to listen to my patients, understand what they are saying, which helps me come up with a treatment plan that is best for them. My practice is unique in that it is focused on benign urological conditions. Many of these conditions have multiple treatment options, and sometimes do not require treatment at all. Therefore, my time for each patient when I see them is dedicated to counseling them on all available options for their diagnosis.
I believe humility is an important attribute that I bring to my practice that helps strengthen my ability to relate to patients and ultimately, help them achieve their goals. One of my favorite things about Urology is that it is constantly changing with newer technologies to treat urological conditions. I am dedicated to making sure patients have the best treatment options available to them.
My goal for every patient is that when they leave my office, they feel that they received the best care possible. I want patients to know that every clinical decision I make is in their best interest.

Endoscopic enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP, ThuLEP), Kidney stones: medical prevention and surgical management of stones, Metabolic/medical management of kidney stones, Laparoscopic surgery for the kidney, Advanced benign prostatic hyperplasia, Endourology, Advanced percutaneous kidney stone surgery, Ureteroscopy, Laser lithotripsy, Shock wave lithotripsy, Staghorn calculi, Cystinuria, Upper urinary tract tumor resection.
Research interests
- Endoscopic enucleation of the prostate with special focus on surgical technique, perioperative management of patients undergoing the procedure, and overcoming the learning curve of endoscopic enucleation
- Metabolic management for kidney stone disease
- Treatment options for benign prostatic hyperplasia
