Treatment Philosophy

I am excited to be a part of the excellent team at Fox Chase Cancer Center. The Pulmonary section at the institution provides compassionate, high quality team based care for our patients.  As an Interventional Pulmonologist, I specialize in the care of patients with abnormalities within and around the lungs.  Oftentimes, patients come to see me after an abnormal CT scan of the chest reveals nodules within the lungs or enlarged lymph nodes. In these cases, it is my job to figure out the cause of these findings.

In other cases, patients come to see me when they start to become short of breath. Again, these problems arise from within or around the lungs. In these cases, I can perform minimally invasive procedures such as bronchoscopies to help alleviate these symptoms. My team and I can also help with abnormal fluid that can build up around the lungs and make breathing harder. By removing the fluid through minimally invasive techniques we can make our patients feel better in a short time. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of our patients by helping with their breathing.
